Middle and high school Speed and Agility and Speed Development classes are offered at both St.Vincent Sports Performance locations. From speed and energy system development, to Olympic lifting, mobility, pliability and agility, the Certified Strength and Conditioning coaches provide programming that challenges those that aspire to make the team, as well as push those that are excelling at a high level within their sport.
Based on the athlete’s capabilities and assessed needs, programming may include, but is not limited to the following:
- Movement preparation (dynamic warm up and foam rolling)
- Pre and progress testing
- Speed mechanics
- Sport specific training
- Resistance training
- Core strength development
- Energy system development (conditioning)
